Microsoft Edge not installing:- Dial +1-877-353-1149
Alright, so I'm replying to my own post to give a solution
that worked for me. I was talking with Microsoft Tech Support, & realized
that when I was using Windows 8.1, I had disabled Internet Explorer, because I
didn't like it & wanted to stop getting updates for it during "Windows
Update". I have 'IE' and I disabled when I installed Windows 10.
This things get a problem, as Microsoft Edge Browser is installed with the 'IE' as its base & replaces it. However, when i turned off/disabled, Edge could not install.

I tried to enable IE once again
& restart the computer while I was connected with Tech Support remotely
connected to my system, but my system didn't like that. After scheduling a
second Tech to look into it further the next day. I decided to re-enable IE on
my own before connecting with Tech Support, just to see if it would work. IT
DID! I enabled IE, then did a restart, before the login screen it made
appropriate changes & "voila" I now have Microsoft Edge Browser.

I don't know if you, or any of you,
have the same problem with it, but I didn't realize that I had still had IE
disabled during the update. From what I gather, there should NOT be a need to
re-install Windows 10. To Turn on/off Internet Explorer, or other programs, you
will need to access the "Windows Features" to do so.
(1) Go to Start Menu.
(2) Go to Control Panel.
(3) Click on
"Uninstall a Program" (found in the "Programs" category).
(4) Once the "Uninstall or Change a Program" window
appears, find the "Turn Windows Features On or Off" on the upper left
hand side of the window. This will open a smaller window with "WindowsFeatures" that can be adjusted. (this may take a moment to fully load all
the features)
(5) Find the "Check Box" that is next to "Internet
Explorer 11" & makes sure it has a check mark. If it doesn't, then
check it & click "OK".
(6) Close that window & any other windows you have open &
then restart. Upon restart the system should automatically make the necessary
changes to activate Microsoft Edge. It may restart more than once. Only did it
once for me.
